LOVEBOX MUSIC FESTIVAL

I know that Lovebox music festival was in July, but I'm only just getting round to posting it to my blog! I was there the selling my wares with the lovely people from Secret Emporium who run Secret Garden Party and Wilderness festivals.
I've been to plenty of festivals in my time but I've never sold at at one. I love festivals, so it was great fun selling at one for a change, albeit the long hours and having to stay in the one place for the duration, all good though. It was great to meet new customers and made new friends too with the other designers.
For the event I made some more affordable 'festival' type pieces, from skull beads, think Day of the dead.. They went down a storm with the festival goers and indie kids. I should be introducing some more 'upmarket' skull pieces onto my website soon, so watch this space... But for now check out the images below..

14 carat is an exhibtion that I'm taking part in during London Jewellery Week. I'll be showing my new spring/summer 2011 collection along side some old favourites. Thirteen other great designer makers will also be exhibiting.

14 carat takes place at Craft Central Gallery, 33-35 St John's Square, London, EC1M 4DS.

Closest tube: Farringdon Station.
Bus routes: 55 or 243.

Opening times
Tuesday 7th - Wednesday 8th June, 12-6pm
Thursday 9th - Friday 10th June, 12-7pm
Saturday 11th June, 12-5pm

Private view Tuesday 7th June, 6-8pm

For this week only Karen is putting on a Pop-up shop in the heart of Clerkenwell, London. So why not pop down to see Karen's jewellery for yourself. She'll be launching her new S/S 2011 swarovski pearl collection, along with a selection of new semi-precious beaded bracelets and some new charm ring and necklaces. You never know you may pick up a bargain or two from her past collections at reduced prices. Remember Mothers day is just round the corner.

Loving these pastel colours from Louise Goldin's S/S 2010 show. My Candy collection would fit perfectly with these for summer.
The soft muted colours of pale pink rose quartz, mint green amazonite, lemon yellow jade and lilac swarovski crystal pearls would look gorgeous next to a lightly tanned skin. Roll on summer.....
